So I really cant figure this one out, maybe someone could enlighten me... Rubens has been using two different helmets on what seems like a totally random basis, he has the helmet he started the season with, his white, green and black helmet, and he has his red white and blue helmet from his Honda days. He has used both during races, and just when I think he has settled on one, he starts using the other again. Personally I like the red, white and blue helmet better because its easier to tell him from Jensen at a distance...and it just looks way cooler . Just on Friday alone he managed to get a practice session in using both, I really don't understand it, hes the only driver I have noticed changing helmets like that on such a regular basis.

Any bets on what he will qualify and race with?

well during the Malaysian GP i noticed he switched to the red white and blue after after the race was redflagged so possibly he has different visor settings on each helmet.

Exactly. During Malaysia, whenever all the drivers stopped during the red flag. Most of the drivers switched helmets, and whilst doing that, Barrichello switched from his green/black helmet to his red/blue helmet.

Honestly, I think both the Brawn coloured helmets are awful. I like the colours on the car, but I wish both drivers would just stick with their trademark helmets.

I've only seen Rubens use the Brawn-coloured helmet once since the early part of the season, to be honest. I was annoyed when he was using those colours, because his 'normal' ones are far better (as my avatar suggests). It bugs me when drivers make significant changes to their helmets >.<

An example of this is Nick. I loved his old helmet, and whilst I don't dislike the new green, it did annoy me that he had changed.

Agreed. Drivers messing around with their helmets is unnecessary and annoying. Let's get back to the old days when your helmet design was sacrosanct.

I can't say that I really like the Jensen's helmet much either, not that I don't think it looks cool (I do), it just has no personality. I think the driver's helmet should be an advertisement free area where the drivers can express themselves, but that's just my opinion.
