As usual... :hehe:

On topic:
Vettel with Fernando is the most likely pairing because I don't think Massa will win a world title and Ferrari will get fed up with him and replace him with Vettel around 2012. By then Vettel should have secured at least 1 drivers title

mmmm. That would really mean him winning it this year, as theres no guarantere Red bull will be so far ahead next year. And if it is, Webber gets stronger and stronger. In fact Id back him for this year over vettel. But thats just my musings

Well, it's hard to believe that Red Bull will release Vettel soon. Yes, it looks good in CV (driving for Ferrari) but I can't see him in Ferrari with Alonso. Alonso wouldn't allow that, in fact, he wouldn't sign contract knowing that Vettel could be his teammate. But, that would be great drivers lineup.

Yes, but it'd be great to see two quick guys fighting in the quick car. Add driver or two from the other team(s) and we can't want anything else.

But, if Alonso gets Ferrari seat next year (I really doubt it) or in 2011 (more than possible) he will be driving alongside Felipe, I'm pretty sure about that. I can't see Vettel and Fernando together in Ferrari. And, when it comes to decide between Vettel and Alonso I'd go for young German.

I think Massa would be a good teammate to anyone

I agree with that statement...

but we are all assuming that Fernando is still in his 2007 attitude...could it be possible that he might have a different attitude after all these years?
so that teaming up with Vettel in the future will not be as bad as 2007 with Hamilton?

I don't believe that Alonso's attitude will have changed while at Renault; Alonso has always been clear #1 driver with the exception of McLaren and Minardi. But Ferrari will probably be a good move for him as Ferrari seem to favour clear #1 and #2 driver systems so will always hire drivers like Barrichello and Massa to partner him!

so does that mean if Alonso goes to Ferrari, Vettel might have a hard time in Ferrari? (IF Vettel is joining Ferrari)

I believe that Alonso is the fix Ferrari are looking for now (will probably have to wait until 2011), Vettel will be a fix for the future; post 2012!

It bugs me that people think that's actually the case. Alonso would do spectacularly at Ferrari, but Massa is capable of leading the team forward. He just needs a consistent team-mate beside him (although Raikkonen is fighting hard this season :)).

Massa needs a 'Massa' to teammate him.

First of all hopefully Felipe is fine ..

Secondly, what we are seeing is a potential Ferrari front row in the future with Alonso and Vettel together

Thirdly, Hamilton will boost his way beside Alonso (classic)

Forth, 2 KERS in front of Button...tough weekend

Ferrari, in the last years, always had a number one and number two driver. And neither Alonso nor Vettel would be satisfied with a number two role, with which Massa is perfectly satisfied, if he gets it. Massa is able to help his teammates, but Alonso not, and Vettel also likely no, so I cant see those two in the same team together.

I don't believe Massa is a true leader; I believe his more recent sucess is due to the tutelage by Micheal Schumacher. I don't believe that Alonso will be such a help to Massa.
