Erm, cheers for the support guys and dolls (insert musical score)

For me another big problem is lack of meeting girls. I mean currently I do nothing that allows me to socialise. I think alot of that is, again, a confidence issue.

Where i'm living atthe moment isn't really the place you want to socialise anyways, but even back up at University i'm one of the "study hard not party hard" losers... I always seem to have too much work on to go out :banghead:

It is pretty difficult. I think a big part of the reason I have trouble with that is that all my friends want to do is go out and get drunk :S

That is exactly how it is with me. It is infuriating!

All summer i've tried to suggest things to do, go to etc etc and the same answer is they are always "saving up" or have no money.

However they have money to go out most weekends. Heck even this weekend.

Sucks, eh? >.<

I've taken to attempting to organise activities with friends I know over the internet rather than in person to make things easier. Only problem is distance. Some of them live over three hundred miles from here :(

Alot of good point's being made here and I can only repeat what others have said already. Being honest and true to yourself and your moral's and treating others how you want to be treated will pay huge dividends.

Last year when I served as the tireman for a Porsche racing team a lady named Yuliya showed up to hangout and support the team. She is russian and a corporate lawyer who had raced sportbike's semi-professionaly yet she is so down-to-earth. Anyway she had her 3yr old son Enzo with her so I ended up looking after him while she talked to the team and watched the racing which I was more than happy to do as I love kids. We had instantly made a personal connection which I believe was due to her being able to read what kinda person I am.

We have since then spoken many time's on the phone such as when she called me for support over a cancelled date. She did nothing more than constantly tell me how good of a person I am and that girl was not worthy of a person like me. So I guess my meaning is that when you be yourself you attract those people/friend's who truelly care and see who you truelly are. Be yourself and it will payoff.

Isn't life a funny game  !!!
