Realistically a return to Canada, France and the United States, with the strengthening of Britain, Germany and Japan is what is required. Hopefully the teams can come to some sort of compromise.

I agree. There are some tracks that, for me, simply must be on the Formula One calendar (in no particular order):

Monza
Suzuka
Spa-Francorchamps
Interlagos
Montreal
Albert Park
Monte Carlo
Nürburgring

I would also like to see a return to the USA, with one race for the east and one race for the west if possible. The Algarve circuit in Portugal would make a nice addition to the calendar, too. For Formula One to feel 'proper' to me, France simply has to have a race - it's almost an insult to motorsport that it doesn't! Other tracks I'd like to see a return to include Kyalami, Buenos Aires, A1-Ring (maybe) and Imola (well, maybe).

What about Britain?

If you had to pick any circuit in the Uk though what would it be?

In terms of the circuit itself, I'd love Brands. However, I always that was not feasible. This weekend proved that it should never be used for single-seater racing. Which leads me to Silverstone, I guess, it's probably the only circuit we've got that would create a good grand prix. Of course, that's before I see the new Donington, which may turn out to be a good circuit, so who knows?

bernie will have no choice but to reduce his fee`s as ticket sales at some of the races have been down so much this year the tracks will just pull out and he wont have a full calender Turkey ticket sales were down by 50% and i was at barcelona last year and there was 139,000 there but this year we could have sat in any stand we liked as the were all half full only 90,000 fans and look at todays race empty stands again...... and if no Alonso at valencia then they will struggle to sell out there also

It's obvious what fans want, what teams want (returning of some old tracks) but no one can do anything about that. It's all about money these days. Hosting a Formula 1 race doesn't make profit, it's all about reducing loss. Bernie wants too much money. I really don't know how he can take 20m+ euros for just one race, that's robbery. We are going to get rid of Max, but with Todt in charge (that's more then sure) I can't see any improvement as long as Bernie "I just want more money" Ecclestone is in charge of Formula 1.
