I went to my first GP at Silverstone 1963 at the tender age of 13yrs and have followed motor sport throughout my life, particularly F1.
My boyhood hero was/is Jim Clark whom I saw racing on a number occasions.
The last GP I went to was 1998 and after spending all day stood in the rain with my view of the circuit being blocked by idiots waving huge banners plus having spent a small fortune on the weekend I decided it be my last until I could afford to helicopter in - be driven to my luxury viewing box - fed and watered and then flown home...
The GP I enjoyed most was Mansell v Piquet at Brands Hatch 1986 - although we were deep in the crowd at Druids it was magical!
