She has had no problems with lasting the race distance on the various road courses in IRL, granted that F1 cars are more demanding, largely on the neck, but I don't think that going from IndyCar to F1 would be any more or less of a change in physical demand than it is going from GP2 to F1. Every driver has to adapt physically to handle the demands of a F1 car, she would be no different.
I said before that I don't think she is F1 talent, but to be honest, that probably was the wrong thing to say. The last few years have shown a variety of new drivers in F1, coming from all over the world in various racing series, some adapt to Formula 1 well, some do not. Sebastian Vettel is an interesting example, he did well in Formula 3, but was fairly average in World Series of Renault, coming in 15th his first year and 5th his second. Unlike Lewis Hamilton, who won most everything all the way up the ranks, Vettel was somewhat quiet, and here he is in Formula 1, 2nd in points in his second full season of racing.
My point is that you really cant tell who will do well in F1 based on their history, for all we know, Danica may come to be a natural in an F1 car, its really impossible to say how she would do with any certainty. I really hope that USGPE gets a car put together before they make a driver decision, I think they need to ask a few different people out to test the car and see who does the best, basing a driver decision entirely on their history in other racing series is foolish. I would love to see Danica give it a try before she puts the idea down completely, even more, I hope she is at least contacted by USGPE, especially after Windsor threw her name out in that interview, would be a shame not to see her given the chance to test IMO.
