When Lorenzo has a resume' that even comes close to Rossi's then you can biatch all you want but until then keep making excuse's if it strokes your ego.

Well statically if Lorenzo wins this years title he will actually be same with Rossi, as at this stage of Rossi's life back to his second Moto Gp season he had won the second season and only had 2 titles. So has Lorenzo, so if Lorenzo wins this year? He would not have only beat the Man himself. But will be equal to the comparison

But also in Lorenzo's time it is statiscally proven the seasons he has partisipated in are harder and has won through the harder seasons but also would of won his second season in the hardest battles and would of beaten 3 WRC. So he would be proven to be a better rider than Rossi

Its not Rossi fault that other riders don't take care of themselves.
I can understand Stoner,hes got a legitimate claim,as he is ill.But Lorenzo has himself to blame,getting injured in a self inflicted crash is a rider's own fault.
50 years from now the argument can't be given Z won because A - Y were injured,even if Z was the worst of em all.He won thats what matters.
P.S. i think lorenzo's faking it playing mind games with Rossi.As rossi would underestimate him and boom past goes lorenzo all healed up

Rossi can only beat what is out there. It is through no fault of his own that his competitors aren't at the top of their game. It is much like in the case of a final of a football (soccer) game where you have a clear favourite and an underdog. If the favourite wins they can't do anything more.

Although Rossi isn't winning races at a canter, he still is winning the races and that is important. Lorenzo may not be fully fit, but he is surely near full fitness if he can (a) race and (b) stay at that level for a race distance.

I think he will pack in after this season, after all i don't believe he will win it. End off. If Lorenzo takes it? He won't want to make himself look like an idiot any more and will see his torch has been passed.

I also see that who else is brining the heat to Rossi? Rossi has had how long in Moto Gp? Lorenzo 2 season, not even that. He's challenging the greatest rider of all time. Give him some slack jeez, he is proving his worth!

They said Rossi is at his best with an empty tank and slippery tires. Thats how he likes to ride. When Lorenzo starts feeling supercomfortable in that condition, that when it will equal out, but this like a millimeter away. It hard to say they are not equal in performance right now.
