Nico Hulkenberg will make his Formula One debut for Williams next year if the British team activates a contract option, according to his manager.

Hulkenberg, 21, is managed by Willi Weber, who famously handled the ultra-successful career of Michael Schumacher.

The reigning F3 Euroseries champion currently contests GP2 with ART, the team run by former Ferrari boss Jean Todt's son Nicolas, and backed by traditional Schumacher sponsors including Dekra and Deutsche Vermogensberatung. Weber wants Hulkenberg to move into F1 next year.

"I have not only held conversations with Williams," he told Sport Bild, "however if Williams takes up the option, we will drive there for certain."

Weber said he has had talks about Hulkenberg with every Formula One team ‘except Red Bull’.

I think Nico will leave and the other Nico will race for them. He looks like a cool guy, so i have the feeling he will impress next season.

Moving to Brawn GP is an option for Nico Rosberg in 2010, while the likes of Rubens Barrichello and Heikki Kovalainen have been in talks with Williams.

With peace in sight in Formula One, there is finally some movement in the driver market as the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport reports.

German Rosberg, 24, is reportedly in talks with no fewer than four teams: his current employer Williams, as well as BMW and McLaren, while Ross Brawn has apparently also shown some interest.

Rosberg is quoted as confirming for the first time that BMW is "an option", while last weekend Mercedes' Norbert Haug said McLaren is interested in both the German as well as compatriot Sebastian Vettel.

"Before we signed Heikki (for 2008) we spoke with both but they had contracts that we of course respected. For the future I don't want to exclude anything," Haug told the German newspaper Die Welt.

Rosberg told reporters at the Nurburgring: "I am looking at my options and cannot say anything more except that at the moment I am very happy here (at Williams)."

Rubbens to Williams? That to me is moving down the grid, not moving up. So I find that a little hard to believe, but I would Love Vettel in a McLaren if they could guarantee wins for the German. But also a beautiful little wage package say 25 Mill?

I think Barichello will retire and I could see Heikki at Williams

Nico at BMW!! Or Even Brawn might have to change his helmet design ;)

I think we need a photo shop image of his helmet in lime green and black :P

Next season has to be

Brawn V Ferrari V McLaren V RedBull

Drivers To fight it out

Jenson - Nico (Brawn) - Alonso (Ferrari) - Massa - Vettel (McLaren) - Lewis - Webber -

Hopefully Brawn will ditch their colour scheme next season.

:nono:

If Monster become the main Sponsor then Black and Green could be the main colours of 2010 :P

I wouldn't be too sure about Brawn. Let's see how funding goes for them first.
Forgetting the likes of BMW could also be back - maybe that is a better option for Rosberg?

It depends really. I think winning the titles could be vital for Brawn in terms of how much money they can ask from potential investors and sponsors.

Yeah, but that's a lime green rather than this ridiculous highlighter pen effort!
