Personality cult?? I like his driving, end of.

I disagree, as you are Hamilton's chief defender - regardless of how wrong he is - both on and off the track.

I never noticed McLaren fan hating Hammy, but he makes alot of very interesting and valid points.

Look more closely!

I do not hate Hamilton. How can I? I don't even know him personally or anything along those lines. However, I do know my Formula One and I don't buy into the personality cult to which you and others subscribe and perpetuate.

Chill out, I was saying it nicely, coz I don't particulary like him.

I don't think he outbreaked himself but him hitting Webber was probably Lewis's fault

Id say a 50/50 racing incident, to be any more precise than that you'd have to see it from many more angles, it was only a clip. Certainly nothing to do with outbraking.

As is often the case, Hamilton saw red: after passing a few cars and out-braked himself going into the very first corner, very nearly taking out another competitor. Something to be really proud of. :headpat:

There is no 'probably' about it as Hamilton certainly moved and touched Webber and not vice versa, but at the same time blame is kinda irrelevant in incidents like that. I think it's pretty fair to say in hindsight that a loss of tyre pressure caused him to run wide at the first corner though, rather than missing the braking point.

How can the incident possibly be fifty/fifty! Hamilton braked late and moved in on Webber, before locking his wheels and flying off the circuit, completely blowing McLaren's chances of a podium.

No. If you watch the start again, you'll find it was exactly as I said. The only other important piece of information was that Webber could not move to the right because Barrichello was to that side.

No Hamilton was behind webber when Webber hit rubens and then rubens was well ahead when webber hit hamilton.

He could of slid in behind Rubens but instead hit hit Hamilton.

Watch the start again yourself
