vb you seem like a nice guy , buy a car and put your own mark on it ! dont buy a chavved up one already !!!because 9 times out of 10 your being some ones else shabby work and problems ! plus no offence pal they look chav tasic !! bloody hell your insureance is crazy !!! my 106 rallye when i passed was only £2000 and thats a 1.6 but i did do my pass plus lol

Yeah, No. Now my Misses is looking hoping to have a baby next year. I'm buying a nice little Corsa with my own mods and basically replace the engine and everything! So it's basically new. With new body kit etc. Then by time I'm ready to sell up i'll PX for a 03 plate Vectra. As that's what I'm after for December 2009/February 2010 time. But I'm just after a nice project ;)

But with what I'm after, i want Fast not chavvy. Like the mods you see on Mustang. Evil lights, mint spoiler. Smooth black. No chavvy s***. Minor blacked out windows.

Image

See with a prime color maybe like blue? Then the customizing comes easier, say if i get a blue/red corsa? then with a Blue corsa, full Sparco accessories with my main colours being blue and silver. Then it would look sporty, with a Evo roof spoiler, mint little body kit. Front bonnet that cuts on the lights or over, will give the lights a 'Evil' look. I am after speed. Not chavvy, then with added BMW angel lights to the centre, it shines through. Or, with a black corsa, the front lights to be black halo lights. With black smoked lights for the back, momo/sparco interior, with flip down/dvd player. With subs in the back, angel lights added to the front lights. Red brake colour, Add a little bit of my scottish decent in there, with a Scottish number plate surrounding with Scottish boxing gloves, Some nice 'Big' dice. Change the colour of the speed/petrol etc omitors. Change pedals to second and prime colour. With hand brake etc changed too. Also, as most 1.2 are 16v, add a 16v chrome badge to the rear window, both sides. Custom made bonnet. Professionally fitted though. Change front wing mirrors with added indicators. Back and back passenger windows to be fully blacked out, drivers and front passengers to be half blacked out. Add Clifford GT5/Matrix alarm, De badge.

I am after something that is mine, now days most of that will already be on there, but it would be a case of buffering it all up to show room standards, in which i have the tools etc to do so.

Also, with 1.6/2.0 CB20 Engine going cheap in other cars.
I can easily make a convert and sell the other for double of what is paid. While buffering that up. I am after n evil/quick look in which you get out of for e.g the mustang in which i posted at the top, fully customized but looks the part. You can do this with anything, I'm hoping to add that special touch to a corsa. What's really annoying me is, if you saw me? You would know straight away I'm not a chav. With the way i talk for one! But i just seem to like these cars

The Cars it won't look like;

Some examples of what it 'Could' Look like.

In these example, some of them just look :vomit:
But with the blue one, make it ll black, change the lights etc. make it a little more smooth. The Goldy/Orange one has been well looked after. In & Out, just would need to change the colour and body kit, the Black one is the colour, but would change bonnet, mirrors and spoiler. Interior isn't classy in which i 'WANT'

A Classy, Evil, Sporty car. In which will be my own.

insurance will **** you for a 1.6 for a first car, and you would get laughed at if trying to insure a 2.0 16v by the insurance company

if you got somthing like an astra or a focus it would be cheaper since there less "boy racer" and the focus would piss all over a corsa any day with it comes to handling easy.

Proberly just as quick with a 1.6 focus too.

Astras are alright but i found the handling abit naff compared with the focus.

Not sure what to get myself for my next car, torn between somthing like a Mustang or a Vaxhall VXR or a Golf R32 4WD or a 09 Focus RS

Well my 106 rallye s2 1.6 cost my £2000 in my 1st year of driving and that was with my pass plus ! thing is though vb a corsa isn’t designed to go fast and with all the body kits and spoilers your going to put on you just going to add weight and ruined the aerodynamic properties of an all ready not very good car which = more weight and even less grip , its not designed to go fast and there for the amount of cash its going to eat up , why not save and get something respectable and fast , and like you said you may have a little nipper on the way , how the hell are you going 2get a family in the car with bucket seats ?

remember with power comes weight and then weight f*cks everything up , your going to need better and bigger brakes , better tyres , your going to need to make the car "breathe" better to with a full exhaust !

honestly mate I’m a mechanic 1st engineer 2nd and the amount of problems you have with cars like that are massive list , there everywhere where I live and we got at least maybe 2 cars in a week with no end of problems because everybody thinks there the best driver on the road and thinking they are all Paul walker in the fast and the furious !! please don’t be one of the guys man :D I beg of you! and i know you wont be :)

but if u do want to do all of that please try "demon tweeks" there about 5 mins from where I like and are possible the best people in the uk at customizing cars with parts and things.

again buddy im not having a dig or anything but ive seen it all 1st hand , im not saying your not going to do a good job. But at the end of the day no matter what you do its still a corsa :( save and get some decent that you and your family to be will like and enjoy :)

all the best mate :)

Well, no, but he has got a good point about power-weight ratios and better brakes. It's one of the first upgrades that happened to my previous car - better brakes, better brake fluid & new tyres.
