Prost also had Jacky Iyckx come to his rescue at Monaco in 1984 when Senna and Bellof were catching him very quickly. Prost was never really a rainmaster and had some victories gifted to him by unreliability a'la Silverstone 1990 when Mansell was leading comfortably, Adelaide 1986 when Mansell's tyre blew up and Silverstone 1993 and Hockenheim 1993 when exactly the same things happened to Damon Hill. Somehow I don't think Prost would win today's races so easily with the only cars likely to break down being Spykers and Mark Webber's Red Bull. :P

Quite simple, he whinges too much and is a car breaker. He'll soon be fuming at Red Bull and calling them the "Renault B team" in the same childish manner he did to Williams. If he was driving back in the Turbo era in the 80's he wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes as he'd blow his turbo on the first lap.

He has started to whinge which is a shame. Still think he's good tho, qualifies well. You think its him and not the fragile red bull??Half this current lot would be crap racing in the oler cars.

Drivers who were used to Turbo cars would probably struggle with todays cars... or at least Rene Arnoux would probably think according to his reason why he struggled so badly in the 1989 Ligier after he spent most of his career in Turbo cars...

TC ban will be the real sorter of the men from the boys.

I shall return then to what I have always held to be true, that Schumacher is the greatest F1 driver to date. Certainly no one can beat him for managing poor weather conditions (not called the Rainmeister for nothing!) and he has been instrumental over the years for his input into the machines that he, at least, drove. He is now a tech. adviser to the Ferrari team. The man is amazing, and all this with a lower heart rate than I now have sitting at my computer, relaxing and writing this.
