- 10 Jul 09, 14:18#131801I'd agree. I suppose if Jenson can finish 3rd though that is damage limitation. It's All he can really do atm unless he can pull out a strong result in qually.IMO it all depends on the weather I guess. Even Red Bull won't be invincible if it comes down by the bucket. I realise they are odds on, but we'll have to see.
Hamilton is strong in that last Sector. It is interesting to see the KERS graphic on the Ferrari - by the time it reaches the chicane the drivers have used it all...
Massa's car looked all over the place at times yet was still not too far off the pace... it's hard to judge where they are. As for the weather, if it does rain then usually at the Nurburgring we get a quick shower, then the track dries off quite quickly. A wet/dry/wet race would make a good spectacle!
NOt that i can make judgment on the times because i havent seen any footage but i would think McLaren Mercedes is running light for their 2nd home race.
Yeah, it looked like Hamilton was doing that lap with quali fuel, although Vettel was basically getting a tenth or so up at the second split, then losing about 3 tenths in the last sector which is a fair amount!
Rising number one of Formula 1, Juan - Juan, one wonders should Juan only win one Formula 1 one year, would Juan have won that one in round one, Juan??
