I dislike the way Michael Andretti was shuffled out by RD.

Andretti wasn't doing the business for several reasons and really had to go.

I didn't say Andretti wasn't royally botching it. That's a different issue.

I'm reserving judgment on Hamilton as a personality though I take nothing away from his achievement so far, but Montoya? He was a menace! Look at the mangling he gave M Schumacher in the Monte Carlo tunnel. Did he think there were no cameras watching?

Schumacher did too mant dubious moves with no respect for his competitors which is why i couldnt put him in a dream team. I agree with you that Senna deserves a place, his skill was outstanding...but a gentleman???? I thought he was more the first to break the code.
Montoya was an exciting ballsy F1 driver, ok he didnt always pull every move off but I always felt he played fair-left the other guy room. Loved it when he drove round the outside of schumacher in one of his first races

Correction: I have an anti-RD agenda. Once he's gone, I'll have a fresh look at McLaren...

Surely Mika Hakkinen deserves an honourable mention?

He was a much quicker driver than Montoya, and a better person.

Drivers - Shumacher and Alonso

Tech Director - Ross Brawn

Team Principle - Flavio Briatore

Flavio will be able to handle the massive ego's of shumi and alonso and keep them both in check

Liking this, but would still bump Alonso for Senna in fantasy world. So Flavio would only have MS to deal with, Senna always struck me as the last of the gentlemen drivers who could still do it. Or is my memory clouded by sentimentality?

i am not old enough to remember senna racing i am only going by the drivers i know

C'mon, I started to give the crimson tide a fair shake once they shed Herr Butthead.

Drivers - Jim Clark + Gilles Villneuve
Designer - John Bernard
Team Principle - Colin Chapman

True natural talent from drivers who can drive anything and live to race whether they're presented with a dog or a winner.

John changed F1 along with Ron Dennis. So much taklent and innovation.

Colin was the man. Innovative in every possible way.

Senna mellowed but it was too late. Prost was just too dull. Schu did nasty things. Alonso is flaky. JPN was a great racer but lost the plot when he was being left behind.
