Lewis is easily the best out of the two and he can only get better with experience. To be honest, Alonso is far from the quickest driver on the grid. His speed relative to Raikkonen, Kubica et al. would be a better mark of how fast he is.

Lewis, not just because he's proven himself to be quicker than Alonso, but also because he's more willing to take risks, and is totally unafraid to overtake anybody at any point on any circuit.

While his slick tyre gamble at the Nurburgring didn't pay off, at least he showed that he's willing to give it a shot, even if he might make a mistake.

Alonso is totally different, his game is more about being shrewd, and blocking your obviously faster teammate in the pit lane :evil:

Whilst I agree Lewis is probably the quicker driver of the two, I disagree with what you say about Alonso. Alonso is one the best overtakers I have seen this season, his pass at this year's French Grand Prix stands out, and he has taken risks, infact, in my and most other people's opinion he made a mistake at the last Grand Prix choosing to go out on the harder tyre.
