Its the maple fret board that does it for me. Its so easy to play and the tone in general is so consistent. Specially if your doing any studio work.

That is a fair point actually. I refused to play the basses at my friend's college when doing some recording work for him because they just felt crap in comparison.

I use to skateboard alot. Then i slammed hard on a half pipe in a skate park in Dublin. I stopped after that in favour of music. I never tried out those longboards. Still have my Element & Powell decks, put them up on my wall.

ouch that must have hurt. I stopped skateboarding like 3 years ago after I got injured too, I broke my foot when it came down at an angle. You should try longboarding though its so much fun.
