If Mosley be ready to run for re-election, Should he be ready to run for president of USA tomorrow?
I saw he always be so hungry for power.

Re you having a f*cking laugh?
This is ridiculous, gosh, if the series stays together we should all agree that Brawn can run his own team nd also the series? Or Flavio! Bernie is either a dumb as a plank of wood or just a retard! But to let Mosley run again would cause him to lose his fortunes! And the sooner Bernie realizes this the better, then we can have F1! The way it should be! I do not care about the economy? They caused this crap! So why should us the “FANS” suffer from this? If were all at home shouldn’t they make F1 more exciting so we stay tuned in and make them more money? No they make the cars ugly and less competitive? FOTA will listen to the fans hence why F1 will soon be referred t as GP2 category 2!

It seems that Mosley will be stepping down after all if the reports from the BBC are correct. No idea what format next years championship will be but at least we know that Mosley will have left the big chair come October. Unless he does another U-turn after the FOTA teams have signed, it seems that his words mean nothing!

Mosley: Peace agreed in Formula 1

By Steven English Wednesday, June 24th 2009, 11:49 GMT

FIA president Max Mosley has said he will not stand for re-election after claiming an agreement has been reached with Formula 1 teams to avoid a breakaway series.

Mosley had said this week that he was left with no choice but to run again following what he called an attack on the FIA's right to regulate the Formula 1 World Championship.

But he revealed after today's meeting of the FIA World Motorsport Council in Paris that a deal to avoid a split has been reached with the teams.

"There will be no split," said Mosley. "We have agreed to a reduction of costs. There will be one F1 championship but the objective is to get back to the spending levels of the early 1990s within two years."

Good, exactly what I wanted. The series to remain how it is, but with Mosley stepping aside and allowing for change within the governing body.

I think thats what everyone truly wanted. but i for one did not think Max would budge!

the only downside is i wont have to make a derogatory Max Mosley Tshirt for Spa now :irked::hehe:
