Nah, no way is it. Renault F1 car was apparently Fisichella, Toyota F1 was i think Trulli, one of the Ferrari test drivers did the Enzo for example. Ben Collins does a lot of the laps though.

Yeah would Schumi have any contract obligations, not allowing him to drive any other F1 car.

I believe it was Hekki in the Renault F1 car at the Top Gear track. Hekki was test driver then, and they always get their test drivers to do demonstration runs. Just like how they always have Grosjean doing the Renault Road Show these days.

Anyways, they were telling the truth. Sorta. Schuy drove the FXX as the Stig. But he's never done a lap around the TG circuit as the Stig before that. So he was the Stig for but a day. As if they'd really tell you full stop, this is the Stig. It would ruin the whole idea of the Stig and mystery.

Personally I think its a touring car driver, but we'll never know who it really is. Thats the whole fun behind the Stig.
