From: [i]itv.com:

David Coulthard needled Felipe Massa in Thursday’s Turkish Grand Prix press conference by suggesting that Ferrari has selected Kimi Raikkonen to spearhead its world championship challenge and is favouring the Finn.

Massa’s title hopes took a major knock in Hungary after Ferrari inexplicably neglected to refuel his car during qualifying.

The setback consigned the Brazilian to a fruitless race in heavy traffic and he fell 10 points further adrift of championship leader Lewis Hamilton, while Raikkonen’s runner-up finish moved him a point ahead of Massa.

Coulthard hinted in his latest ITV-F1.com column that he suspected Ferrari had choreographed the incident, and – in mischievous mood – he warmed to his theme in the pre-event press conference.

“How do we know that Ferrari didn’t deliberately not put fuel in Felipe’s car?â€

Hmm. Why would Ferrari want to hamper any chance they have of gaining extra constructors' championship points by playing some silly game? I'm sure he's just joking around....

Interestingly he says in his column

Why, for instance, was McLaren singled out for punishment while Ferrari wasn't pulled up for failing to put fuel in Felipe Massa’s Ferrari?

Didn’t that hamper Felipe’s chances in qualifying as well?

I know we've done this topic to death but I think he's missing the point that the FIA obvisouly decided that Ferrari was a genuine error whereas there was some malicious intent behind the McLaren incident.

this assumption by DC is rubbish. Ferrari may employ questionable tactics to win but screwing one of thier own drivers is not one of them

Well, it depends on how you define 'screwing', however, I agree with others on here: Ferrari have a good chance of winning the constructors' championship, better than the drivers' championship, so screwing over Massa would do Ferrari more damage that it would to Massa.

I think Coulthard should stick to chatting up Louise Goodman. :P

David 'I know everything about everything' Coulthard has been mouthing off ever since Mclaren dumped him. Usually saying nasty things about drivers who go faster than he does.

Once a bridesmaid always a bridesmaid.

Nobody listens to DC which just makes him even more frustrated, it's a vicious circle.

You probably get used to being in the limelight in a McLaren, wouldn't surprise me if he's stirring the pot for some headlines.

Maybe he (DC) was also the victim of such antics but was, and still is, too professional to spill the beans. Mika was Ron's blue-eyed-boy!
And by the way, remember back to when Ferrari lost Ervine's wheel, was that not the year that he could have won the c'ship! Some people (Teams) in this world do cut off there nose to spite their face, especially if they had spent millions more on a particular asset!
