I do like him as an actor, but his voice is nothing special in my ear, nice, but not standing out. :shrug:

His normal speaking voice (which might be what you meant, after thinking about it) is not as distinct as somebody like Nicholson's, but Jacobi is pretty talented when it comes to affecting accents etc. (since I, Claudius, he's been hunted down by people whose productions have characters with a stammer) and projecting his voice in theatre.
