I'm thinking of buying a Video camera in time for next month's trip to the BTCC round at Croft and then the British Grand Prix the weekend after.

Last year I borrowed my Dad's video camera, but I would like to buy a Video Camera that can also take normal photographs as well, I found it quite a nightmare switching between the video camera and my digital camera.

Do such cameras exist?

i think you will hate teh videos to be honest, unless you manage to get a quality crash.

Agree, I have a nice Canon one, okay hardly use it but the video quality is impressive.

Ditto, Probably quite a bit cheaper, will still take pretty good quality videos, an would most likely capture better quality images. I believe you can pick up SuperZoom Digi Camera's now that will shoot in HD for around £150 - £170
