I know there are certain upgrades, with the Cap we get more drivers and allot more opportunities, but the the aero we get the awesome cars we used to love, i prefer to watch the 2008 season rather than this joke for racing, i want the sexy cars gain

Sorry, squire, but that 2009 car is far sexier. All those curves and no nasty bits hanging off.

I find the 09 car very sexy compared to the 08.

But to the OP, I would still watch F1 without the Super Teams.

No, no no and no.

(And the 2008 car is sexier. I don't fancy the rear wing much of the 2009 cars :/)

No thanks.... a car with scaffolding all over it powered by a whiny V8? Bring back the monster 2004 V10 cars, before the front wings were raised and the teams went crazy with all the ugly turning vanes at the front of the sidepods! :)

You're mad, those 2008 cars are hideous.

I would watch, because FOM are masters at presentation (Say what you will about them, they put on a fine show). But I would also watch (probably more closely) the breakaway. Hopefully they would be able to put together a decent package - and wouldn't sell it to Sky Sports.

Preferably I would like to see the car shapes of the 1989 - 1994 period - the 3.5 Litre era. Some of the best looking cars ever produced came out of this era - even the slow ones!

Yes I would still watch F1; probably more religiously if the racing was closer which the budget cap would inherently bring. F1 will survive without the teams threatening to quit; F1 was perfectly fine without the likes of Toyota, Renault, BMW and Red Bull 15 years ago when racing was at it's best in my opinion, it will be fine again after the manufacturers. Plus there is a realistic chance of Toyota and BMW pulling out at the end of the year regardless of the cap because of the parent companies pulling funding!

I wouldn't watch that. It wouldn't be F1.
Screw it - more free time!!

Exactly. It wouldn't be F1 proper but it would be an exciting racing series where competition is close and intense. If the FOTA start their own racing series I would watch that as well

No.

would rather watch NASCAR than that b-grade grid....

I wouldn't go a far as to watch Nascar, you'll be talking red neck after 4 or 5 races.

saying Yeeeeeea haaaaaaaaw alot and drinking way too much bud-light.

i'll just follow Mclaren..there business is racing so whatever series they go into i'd watch that.

You do not even realize how disrespectful you comment is to us Americans because you are categorizing us all! Aswell 'rednecks' may very well be more of a racing fan than you think you are and if you want me to categorize the English 'arrogant/know it all attitude' towards racing my guns are loaded but do it via PM.
