Ah the stereotypes; who are this Mad TV? an American Internet TV thing?... If I had a penny for every time I heard an American try an bad English accent when they find I am from the UK; I would be a rich man, usually the stupid upper class twit accent, e.g. Hugh Grant-esque... I don't know a single person that talks Movie English in the UK!

No, we don't watch american shows (except drama's, cartoons and sitcoms) We have our own TV crap surprisling.

We know they don't actually think that. It's more the fact that its just not funny. Some of the stuff isn't even stereotypical, its just made up.

But if you really want to watch an english show you don't understand, try Rab C. Nesbit. Oh, you'll have a fun understanding that. Darn Scots.

I'm hardly getting worked up over it, when I'm not even british, and it doesn't even relate to me. I just don't get their sense of humor. Personally I don't like a lot of new age humour. I'd prefer to sit down and watch comedy from 20 years ago.
