Actually it is very cool in the sense that I knew my humorous and sarcastic post would ruffle some feathers  .

:wavey: I watch a fair bit of NFL too actually, I just found out DD's a Charger's fan, you into it?

Cyber-Slapping is a form of online slapping that doesn't actually physically occur. It is the only viable end-product of any threat of physical violence that ensues during a particularly heated forum argument.

I played football for 5yr's but that was along time ago. I still watch when I'm with my bro's but other than that I dont watch as it's just not as much fun.

Actually why is (American) Football called football? I have always wondered that as the majority of the game is throwing and running with the ball? Not that I pretend to be an expert or anything; but I watched about 20 minutes of a Superbowl once.

why is this called football:hehe:

Right, headball!

ah now you're getting that confused with head-tennis, which is actually an internal contest which takes place within a football match but which is a competition in its own right. It usually occurs on the halfway line, involving midfielders from each team inadvertently heading it to one-another while trying to gain aerial supremacy and is often used to break up any lengthy outbursts of football that may occur. While it is not officially sanctioned and teams are not awarded points, the victor in any contest gains a large amount of prestige for his or her club and so it is taken quite seriously, especially in the Scottish Premier League, where it is sometimes prioritised over the football match itself. :hehe:
