Hi All,

My son and I are travelling down on Fri 19th to Luton Airport for our 1st Grand Prix. Just wondering if anyone has local knowledge of transport links to the track? We are staying in Whittlebury Park.

any help would be great

Hmm I've been considering camping at Litchlake instead of Windmills, because its much closer to the coach park site. I figure closer to coach park = less stress pitching up before FP1/pitching down before coach departs (only 1 hour after race finishes! :O)

But if anyone has a good reason why not to go with Litchlake I'll gladly hear it :D i.e. its usually full by FP1 or awful facilities. I've been led to believe that it's slightly more active at night than Windmills.

I'd reccomend getting to Northampton. There should be a train running there, although you might have to change at some point. There may also be buses.

But if you get to Northampton there's a bus running to/from the circuit Friday to Monday, every half an hour or so. There's a timetable on Stagecoach's website I think, I'll take a look for it and post it when I find it.

Windmills -you make your own entertainment :D But you can practically roll out of bed and on to the track

Yes, you wouldbe correct.
For boring people like me I prefer quiet... :P:P

However I only choose windmills due to logistics really. Its closer to the grandstands etc etc.

I hope Lewis crashes into Button at Stowe on first lap so then I can laugh at them both from the grandstand. :hehe:

I really hope no-one crashes into anyone at Stowe of all places! :yikes: That would be a biiiiiiiiiiig accident

But think of the hilarity at both Brits out and then the fairweather fans gutted. That would make my day :hehe:
