Average, he was pretty good in his first Williams which was a decent car, then was really poor in a really poor Benetton/Renault then steadily got better with a steadily improving BAR/Honda team. I don't remember him being particularly special in his poor cars, he seems to need a half decent car to perform, i don't think he's too great at changing his driving style to get round handling problems.

Hamilton's car is not crap, it's mediocre. The very idea that the MP4-24 is even half as bad as the RA107 or the RA108 (Or THAT Benetton) is ludicrous.
