Got to say it but ManU were pants tonight!

Was a pretty boring game considering it was the Champions League final

I thought it was alright...

Wahhaayyyyyy.
Barca 2-0 Scum

Haha, although i wanted them to win but only cause i had money on them... in some ways it is worth a fiver to see scum like Rooney fail rather than get the success they are so undeserving of (as human beings)!

I was hoping that Christiano Ronaldo was GOING!!!

But he's still there. :( He has to get the hell out of England, and take Drogba too.

It was a good game. And Barca deserved to win. :)

:sickman: Really glad Henry finally got a Champ league winners medal and Barca came out and did way better than I expected. Can't hold a grudge against Barca, they are one of the most honorable of clubs. Man U were a little flat I thought...

And they played like an honourable club. They were playing old style football, and not only won with it, but they scored over 100 goals with it this season! :D

Was fun rubbing it in to all the crybaby Man Utd supporters. :hehe: Things a few times almost got out of hand but I was quick to just move along when it was necessary. :D

:crying: United till I die!

Disappointing as a United fan

for Ronaldo...played well today where the others around him failed to perform...

Promising first 10 minutes but that was about it. First chance to Barca and they were clinical and we were rattled after that...Vidic looked nervous, Carrick always looking to hoof the ball up and United struggled to keep the ball in the final third of the pitch. Our defence was disorganised to say the least, when we went 1-0 down you could sense that Barca were going to carve us up as we attack. And that's what happened...O'Shea was caught off at times but fair play to him he played, as ever, solidly and he kept Henry quiet. Evra caught out at the back as well but understandable given the situation... VDS couldn't really do much kept United in the game at 1-0 down by saving Henry's shot. Rio was caught out once or twice the same goes for Vidic who was a bag of nerves in the first half... Much of the problems faced by the defence stemmed from the inability of the midfield to keep hold of the ball...

Carrick had a shocker all-night...He's been one of United's outstanding performers this season, coming into his own along with Fletcher but today he was lethargic always looking for the long ball to link up with Ronaldo. He was too impatient for me in the middle of the park and in comparison with Iniesta and Xavi he was taught a lesson. He sadly couldn't dictate United's tempo and I don't know whether that was down to nerves or being simply outclassed in the middle of the park.

And Fletcher I'd never thought I would have said this but we missed him in the middle of the park. Weirdly enough he possessed the calming presence that was needed to steady the ship after the first goal. But missing Fletcher in the middle was key, especially as Carrick had a shocker and Anderson hardly imposed his presence...We needed a grit and determination in the midfield and with Hargreaves & Fletcher coming back I don't see a need for a "knee-jerk" reaction to splash out on a World-class midfielder because what we've already got the players at our disposal.

Ronaldo was great tonight, our best performer on the pitch. Hee was really up for the game tonight and it's a great shame to see he wasn't supplied. The fact that he showed up today spoke volumes about his progression into the World's best player...He's definitely laid a claim to being a "Big-game player". Poor season? Naaaah, he'll come back better next season as a CF with even more goals... To you Ronnie!

But wow Barca And that's not Barca as in Iniesta, Messi and Xavi....that's Barca with Puyol, Pique and Sylvinho. The midfield was scintillating and completely out-classed United in the middle of the park. Iniesta and Xavi retained and distributed the ball beautifully tonight and it was a joy to watch them to dominate the midfield. The creativity, flair and link-up play with Messi today was the way football should be played.

Fair play to Barca's defence...much was said about their frailties and weaknesses but they out-performed their counterparts. Pique was outstanding today denying Park and Rooney in particular. Sylvinho, even though he didn't play a critical role, was solid at the age of 35...he in my opinion was the player that United should have exploited but fair play to him he stood his ground much a like Yaya Toure in the centre of the defence who again was solid and concentrated, which was pivotal when the opposition were hardly testing the defence. Puyol, much has been said about his age but fecking hell lol he was like a young Carlos Alberto...bombing forward he nearly got a goal of his own...theatrical yes but super as a make-shift full-back and captain.

Guardiola was super His tactics were spot on, he won the La Liga, Copa del Rey and CL in his first season at Barca. Sure he inherited a talented side but they were a shambles, internally, when Rijkaard left them...His debut season has been eventful to say the least and he set a great example by condoling the United players as opposed to basking the glory.

All in all, Barca deserved to be crowned champions of Europe. Beautiful football, worthy champions

We've been spoilt with trophies and it would be wrong for me to whinge... s**t happens...lucky enough to have only lost one European cup final and we're lucky enough to have made to the final. 66 games this season, was it? I applaud the United team for the effort, trials and tribulations they've put the United fans through. It was eventful season and United will come back stronger and better next season for sure...

I know someone, who betted on all the opposites of what he wanted. E.g wanted scum to lose, so betted they'd win.
He didn't win money but it was worth losing the money to see them lose.

Messi showed he is miles better than Cristiano Divealdo.

Sorry to be people who were in Rome (if any):

Why were all the sperm banks in Manchester empty on Wednesday?

Because all the w**kers were in Rome.

I support my home team (which is sadly 4,399 miles away) Plymouth Arygle, and believe it or not I have had two Plymouth shirts stolen in the laundromat since arriving in the US seven months ago. I also support Liverpool but only as a second team; if it came down to picking one; Plymouth Argyle every time!
