Without being insulting, this guy has got to go, back to the radio, back to football commentary, go anywhere, but get away from F1. Its expected to take time to adjust the switch from radio motor sport commentary, and its obvious when someone is never going to make it. He gets everything wrong, has to be corrected time and time again by his co commentator, interrupts and jumps all over Martin Brundle, has an obsession with the word 'wow'. We are watching the race, we can see the lap time information on the TV, its very clear, very obvious, and very easy to understand. we do not need the commentator, to tell us each individual lap time, for every car in the race, one after the other, for the majority of the laps. We do not need to hear who is riding top 8, in order, every time they pass the start/finish line.. 'Brawn from Brawn' "Button from Barrichello from Raikkonen from Massa Brawn from Brawn from Ferrari from Ferrari............... its tedious, unesessary, and dam right frustrating, its ruing F1, its damaging the uninterrupted BBC coverage that everyone had been looking forward to, and you're loosing the voice and racing experience of a real F1 driver and superb commentator, Martin Brundle. this guy is clear, precise, and loaded with useful information, team strategy, factual experience and charisma on the race circuit.. answer me one question, what was so bad about mark allen..?

Well James Allen was an over-excitable and dominating presence who too frequently failed to remain even remotely impartial. Jonathan Legard is a seasoned vet with a style and voice which perfectly compliments Martin Brundle.

Legard's voice grates on me. Obviously, it was going to take some time for he and Brundle to gel, and for Legard to get used to his new role, but it's got to the stage now where it's clearly not working out. Legard should present horse racing and World's Strongest Man, and somebody else should be given a go.

I have no problem whatsoever with Ledgy. Not great chemistry between him and Brundle just yet, but it'll get there before years end.

I think the great thing, is when a commentator can hold back any sign of being bias. Does anyone know who Ledgy's personal favourite is from his commentary...

It would be Kimi, but you don't see him going crazy when Kimi was fastest in Q2. So in other words it's not like we're going to see the Senna comparisons again, or "JENSON BUTTON WINS, GET IN THERE"

But this is the great thing with the BBC, if you don't enjoy listening to Legard. Then simply switch over to Croft and Davidson commentary. Thats if you have the red button of course.

Listen to Legard in Monaco and compare him to Australia. He is ALOT better now and that's after what six races?

He'll be fine by the end of the year hopefully

I'm happy with the whole BBC team, even Jordan as I enjoy seeing someone talk sh*te on TV when everyone around him knows he is doing so. It's just plain funny. Legard is alright, I prefer him to James Allen
