it sounded even better than it looked (and it looked good ), ive got a pic some place of its rear mounted engine, will have a look to see if i can dig it out

they were flying all day, they hired the owner of knockhills son to drive for them, a bit of local knowelege goes a long way especially with a car thats pushing around the better part of 700 or so BHP

That would be nice to see. I was fortunate enough to witness/watch the GroupB cars and I always loved the 6R4:
