Ok, I admit it, I'm boring but does anybody know the number of engines used & by whom?

I started thinking about this after Norbert Haug said on German Telly after the race this afternoon, as proud as punch, that Jenson had used the same engine for each of his wins so far this season.

That's not just the same evolution of the engine but the exact same 1.

Sounds incredible yes?

But what have the others done?

In the coverage it was mentioned that a number of drivers were using old engines. With Monaco being a track where raw power is less important than average, you'd expect drivers to use older engines with less power.

Still extremely impressive for a single engine to win three races though. Haug has every right to be proud.

apparently it was Jensons 3rd Engine this was the only engine to win 3 times in modern F1

I know Toyota used a different engine at each of the 4 races, another team did too...BMW... i think...?

Kubica is on to his fourth, I think. Of course, two of those four already used are reusable, but the other two will be in a bin somewhere in Hinwil or Munich.
