I'm still disappointed with Vettel's grid position, although I guess if Nakajima did indeed hold him up, then it's not as bad. I'm also a little disappointed with Rosberg's position, although he's fairly good around Monaco, so he might be able to do something during the race.

Well, looking at the one's the BBC posted.
1 Button - lap 20
2 Raikkonen +0.113secs - lap 18
3 Barrichello +0.162secs - lap 20
4 Massa +0.635 - lap 18
5 Rosberg +0.691 - lap 17
6 Kovalainen +0.702 - lap 18
7 Vettel +0.769 - lap 11
8 Webber +0.776 - lap 19
9 Alonso +0.945 - lap 23
Nakajima +1.929 - lap 31

But apparently
A Formula 1 car uses between 1.7-1.9kg of fuel per lap of Monaco depending on the car

So arguably there's some variance between predictions. But even so, as I calculate it. If the Brawn uses 1.9kg of fuel per lap, that's still 22 laps for both Brawn's. Meh, we'll just see what happens in the race.

Jensonb now presents a lighter take on the F1 World, for your amusement:

How you know you're the top driver in F1:

People start accusing your team of favouring you over Barrichello.

Thankyou, and good night :wavey::D:thumbup:

I think the accusations against Ferrari where pretty accurate though :D

I apologise if this has been discussed. Ive just got back and theres 29 pages here!!! Vettel was nowhere near Webbers pace in Q2 yet he is one place ahead on the grid. Is Webber fuelled heavier? Webber looked good to me in Q2 have they overfuelled him? Ive heard rumours that the golden boy's side of the garage is being favoured, with far more substance than the Button?barrichelo favoritism. What do you think?
#120634
Just seen the fuel loads. Webber is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy heavier!! Go Webber!!

I think teams are favouring drivers fuel wise. We see it with the majority of the teams actually. For instance, I would've given Kimi the light fuel load of the Ferrari's at Monaco, since he was faster in Q2.

I say, I can't wait till Q3 is back to the way is should be. Everyone on fumes. It'll be 10x better.

Vettel is too light to do much unless his pit stop comes right before the safety car comes out. Kovalainen looks alright, so you guys should at least get a couple of points tomorrow :)

I can only hope that Button has to fend of Raikkonen at the start and Barrichello manages to find a way through. Otherwise I can see it being only another podium for Rubinho. Unless, of course, the safety car plays a role in shaking things up.

However, if the safety car does come out and play with the race result, I just get the feeling that Rosberg may benefit. I don't know why, just do.

Whats lewis' fuel?

Another great pole from Jenson Button.

This is getting boring. I know Jenson is showing supreme skill and getting that long overdue shot in a title winning car but as a spectacle this is becoming Michael Schumacher 2004 all over again.

Feel bad for Vettel he should have had pole with his fuel load but once again Nakajima is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Fernando is quite heavy which is a pleasant surprise. If he can hold on to the back of those infront of him during the race he will leap frog a couple of drivers during the first pit stops. :D

Whats lewis' fuel?

645.5kg

Starting from P20, that could work out quite badly.

Why is that bad??

Isnt he P 16?

Because Raikkonen, in P2, is only 1.5kg lighter. Look at the people who will be around Hamilton on the grid:

16. Nick Heidfeld 680.0* Lap 40
17. Robert Kubica 696.0* Lap 49
18. Jarno Trulli 688.3* Lap 44
19. Timo Glock 700.8* Lap 51
20. Lewis Hamilton 645.5* Lap 20

If he can't get past Glock, his race is messed up. I do wonder what Glock could do with his strategy. With the chances of the safety car coming out on multiple occasions, he could get in to the points.

Also, Nick out-qualified Robert again. Yay. :)
