Please, let it end. I've nothing against Button, but he's winning bloody everything. Its gets annoying. Maybe it's Rubens. Maybe it's curse, and it's like the ghost of Schumacher. :hehe:

Raikkonen really came alive today. Just from nowhere. I think he really just found something during Q2, that extra bit of pace, and personally I'd say Kimi was the best of them today. He impressed me more than anyone else today.

Though Toyota, last and last. What on earth has happened the team that was about to win in Bahrain. That's a strange car they have on their hands. It's completely and utterly inconsistent. They may still win a race though, we'll see.

I think the race tomorrow is quite clear. If Button leads into turn 1, it's game over. If Kimi leads, then we'll have a fight.
Also to note, Button starts on the dirty side of the track. No doubt Kimi needs to launch himself into the lead come turn 1. No excuse's. He's got the better line and KERS. It was seen in GP2, anyone starting on the racing got a much better start.

I'm really not surprised by the results yet I had high hopes for Vettel and Webber. Anything can happen during the race so quali is just a precursor to the actual results, stuff happens

The only surprise to me is that i thought Kimi's position belonged to a Red Bull. But again, because so many things went wrong in Barcelona all we could see was that Ferrari was improved, but not how much. (by the way, Massa's car seemed far less balanced than Kimi's... he had to work that steering all the time, while Kimi looked planted.)

Also, with Heikki being where he is, it would have been pretty interesting to see where Hamilton could have ended.

Anyway, the championship is looking good, and Jenson is doing some superb driving. Very well deserved
One thing i'm hoping for the race is that Nakajima or Piquet dont crash!! :banghead:

Did you notice how EJ's opinion of him has changed between grands prix? :P

EJ just needs one of these - :slap:

Raikkonen's not finished, he's lazy and won't apply himself.

Meh, i think if that was the case in the past, it isn't so much now. He did the bulk of Ferrari's winter testing, he wouldn't have bothered if he was that lazy...

A quick note on Rosberg - i reckon Williams split the fuel strategies, if so he had to deliver a top 3 time and didn't - his chance of a great result may already have passed. RB may have gone the same route by the looks of it.

Sorry let me expand on that, I should have written more, but was busy with the BMW press release for the site.

Raikkonen shows alot of pace and still has it, but it seems to me that he only ever tries it on when he can be bothered. It wouldn't surprise me if he has a great race tomorrow, then a terrible GP in Turkey.
I've never thought he was finished, but I just feel he seems to lack the desire. James Allen has written about this - he's heard Raikkonen just doesn't seem to be bothered with the day to day business of F1 anymore. Shame really.

Haha, i was impressed with Piquet, he actually got into Q2. He will crash though, then Roman Grojean will take over in the next race, and win.

he's just been putting that blistering lap whenever he wants! :deadhorse:

 and his car was super stable. Didn't look like the struggling F60 at all. Finally! But let's wait for the fuel load, still he did a great job, on all Q sessions...
I hope Kimi wins!

He only did it because Toyota and BMW majorly struggled.
Where are the bookies? can i bet on Nakajima and Piquet to crash??

Alonso could be penalised for blocking Trulli.

I seriously doubt it. If you watch the replay again from Alonso's car he moved out of Jarno's way as best he could without heading into the barriers himself. Jarno was just unlucky to meet another car in that corner.

are the fuel adjusted times out yet

Nope, i could swear Brawn said 'they'll be out in an hour or so' in his post quali interview, i'm desperate too see them too. :P

The FIA usually wait until all of the teams have published their press releases. As I'm responsible for posting these for this site, i've noticed that the FIA will wait until then before posting the press conference and the weights.

Not many teams left though, so shouldn't be long.

Qualifying sessions are always fun :D
I was hoping that Barichello would beat Button in qualifying, just for a bit of a change lol. But congrats to Button - he pulled that lap out just when he needed it, which was pretty impressive.
The start of the race tomorrow will be very interesting - Kimi might just be able to get ahead with his KERS, which could mean it at least won't be completely processional. I'm hoping Massa won't do the same thing to Vettel (again) though! *fingers crossed* :D

Bit disappointed that Vettel's so light on fuel and still only got 4th. I thought he might be lighter, but not by that much...
