ahh nothing to do with Luck, he is just good. doing better than his team mate! good on him. but dunno how he is going to keep the KERS Ferrari at bay into turn one!

Spewing for Lewis, i think he could have challenged for pole, but thats racing!

Jenson Button and the Brawn team are doing extremely well so far, so everybody thinks he's the greatest driver in the world---he's not. Jenson Button will win the world drivers championship this year; it's a lock. But the same thing that's happening to Lewis Hamilton now will happen to him next year.

so your saying hamilton was lucky last year

No, I'm just saying that everything that could go wrong for MM and lewis Hamilton this year has gone wrong. This was the first driving error he's made this year, but he made it at the one place you can't make a mistake. You usually don't get a second chance at Monaco cause the course is so narrow. His main problem has been he just hasn't had a car that can keep up. And yes-- he did have a little luck at Monaco last year.

So, hang on. He's winning races because he's in the best car, but he's not a good driver. Yet Lewis spent 2007 and 2008 in what was arguably the best car, and he was spectacular.

Am I missing something here..?

Possibly so yet the context of your post is nothing more than the typical 'Lewis fanboy' attitude, F1 does not revolve around Lewis. I like Lewis and realize he has immense driving skills but he is going through one of those times that ALL drivers experience in their career. Ferrari is my team and has been for 30yrs yet you dont see me dissing Lewis, Jenson, Rubens, Vettel or Webber etc etc just to satisfy my ego. Just appreciate the sport for what it is, much more fun like that  .

I got to go guys so all I'll say is, "may the best man win". We'll see what Hamilton can do from P16. Tomorrow will be a great day for racing-- we got Monaco, Indy and the coca-cola 600 all in one day. It's gonna be great!!

Kers doesn't kick in until after 3 seconds I think? So here it won't have as big an effect.

Yeh but there no reason to say that Jenson isn't that good when he clearly is especialy if he's just done that around monaco.

I support Mclaren and its drivers but that don't mean i can't see a good lap by another driver.

You sound like such a fanboy its people like you that start all this crap about "all mclaren supportors are lewis fanboys"

You're not missing anything, but there is a village missing it's idiot somewhere... Button was actually faster in Q3 than in Q2 - unbelievable! and to drop a cliche term, he's driving like a champion this year.

I would dearly love for Raikkonen to get the jump on the Brawns at the start tomorrow, although whether he can win depends on fuel (and reliability!), so much for all those morons who said he was finished.

Did you notice how EJ's opinion of him has changed between grands prix? :P

EJ just needs one of these - :slap:

Raikkonen's not finished, he's lazy and won't apply himself.

Meh, i think if that was the case in the past, it isn't so much now. He did the bulk of Ferrari's winter testing, he wouldn't have bothered if he was that lazy...

A quick note on Rosberg - i reckon Williams split the fuel strategies, if so he had to deliver a top 3 time and didn't - his chance of a great result may already have passed. RB may have gone the same route by the looks of it.
