You know you're Aussie if you can interpret:

Dazza and Shazza were playing Acca Dacca on their way to Maccas.

OH MY GOD! I just caught a glimpse of your new avatar and I thought it was a guinea pig!! I dont mean you look like a guinea pig. I just caught a quick glimpse and didnt see the face part. You try. Cover up the face part and your hair looks like an Abyssinian long haired guinea pig!! They're very cute with gorgeous hair!!

What a way to compliment somebody.

Hahah, i'll try to take it as a compliment.

Being Australian
is about driving in a German car
to an Irish pub
for A Belgian beer,
then on the way home, grabbing an Indian curry
or A Turkish kebab,
to sit on Swedish furniture and
watch American shows
on a Japanese TV.
Oh and....
Only in Australia ...
can a pizza get to your house faster
than an ambulance

Only in Australia ...
do supermarkets make
sick people walk all the way
to the back of the shop
to get their prescriptions
while healthy people
can buy cigarettes at the front.

Only in Australia ...
do people order double cheeseburgers,
large fries and
a DIET coke.

Only in Australia ...
do banks leave both doors wide open
and chain the pens to the counters.

Only in Australia ...
do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars
in the driveway and
lock our junk and cheap lawn mower
in the garage.

NOT TO MENTION....

A massive 543 Aussies
were admitted to Emergency
in the last two years
after opening bottles of beer with their teeth.

and finally.........

In 2000 eight Aussies cracked their skull
whilst throwing up into the toilet.

IF YOU'RE PROUD
TO BE AUSTRALIAN
SEND THIS ON !

At heart, I am, without a doubt . . . . Australian!

For all the non-aussies on this forum who have a problem understanding us sometimes please refer to this page:

I didn't realise that some of the stuff on there is Aussie slang. Like if I asked, whadd'ya think of that doco last night? You'd be gonesky. Alright, doco sounds quite slangy. (Ridgy-didge) What about docket? I always thought that that was an OS statement from figjams.

I think it's funny how many slang words there are for duck (fine then - donger), and good luck to the admin's trying to BLOCK THEM ALL!

Anyways, gonna do the Harold Holt. It's pissin' down outside.

drought aint over here! we are the driest Australian state and the Vics and NSW farmers are bleeding the little water in the Murray river dry, leaving the Murray mouth in SA a sand bank!

Nobody cares about Adelaide.

Imagine if we were still seperate colonies/countries. You guys would declare war on us two.
