Webber went well in the 1st session but was the last out, by miles in the 2nd session & then achieved nothing of note.

I'm going to guess that by the time they'd changed Vettel's engine there wasn't the time to replace Webber's as well & so he was forced to wait it out & then do a bare minimum.

Konspirisee types can debate whether then Vettel knew his engine was likely to go & then blew it at a point that was the most inconvienent moment for his teammate.

He's topped the sheets elsewhere but then not matched that kind of pace during the race before now. I'd give Massa a better chance of being higher up the grid, to be honest. His car seems more drivable and, well, he was awesome here last year.

But I could not see either of them on the podium. If I was to base the finishing podium on previous performances, Barrichello, Trulli and Webber would be up there, though not necessarily in that order. Looking at practice, though, there are far more people who could get there/close to there.

I'd give Massa a better chance of being higher up the grid, to be honest. His car seems more drivable and, well, he was awesome here last year.

Although i'd agree that Massa surely has a good shout for doing well, those Ferrari's looked like they were difficult to drive in practice, albeit still quick, judging from the amount of steering wheel input they had to put it!

yeah i agree , rubens , the red bulls and hamilton or massa for a podium , if im being honest i would like to see rubens win if hamilton doesnt , rubens deserves to win and he was driving awesome today

You should have kept faith! Its a better track for McLaren, he always goes very well there and there was always the prospect of more upgrades. I stick with what I said originally tho, a posible podium. A win? Very nice but unlikely............ tho not impossible of course

ive always kept faith followed lewis since formula renault and if i lost faith id be a bit screwed with the tattoo ive got lol plus he has only ever not won in monaco once in 07 (where he was faster than alonso) but i think deffo a podium but im really hopeing for a win

Lewis pace has been pretty constant tho good times in prac 1 and 2 in previous GP practice he's good in one but falls down in prac 2

I'd say were good for perhaps a podium but if thats his true pace then a win isn't of the cards

No practice sessions on Friday, Kimi will be on a boat somewhere getting sh1tfaced, good lad
