Why do you keep saying this alonso campion? Apart from Lewis' acievements this year(as describrd by aboldero) which are unprecedentedly good for a rookie, he has been racing since he was about 8years old and has won just about every catogery he has entered. Last year in GP2 (where the cars are much more equal than in F1) he was stunningly good and won convincingly. In Turkey he came from 15th following a spin tp 2nd. At silverstone he overtook 2 round the outside through Becketts! resulting in Piquet, who is no slouch, going through an advertising hording trying to fend him off! It is no disrespect to Alonso to be getting beaten by one so talented but if you continue to say Lewis has done nothing then what does iy say about alonso????

Lewis is a MISSILE, but he needs to learn something more, in my opinion.

I Don't think he will win this seasson, why? simple!, he is not Alonso, he has bad manners and he is not respectful to his bosses, he didn't win anything yet so he is not a champion, for now he is a guy with a excellent car in a good team.

Hamilton! win me a championship first and I'll call you champion!, meanwhile Hamilton is only the favorite boy of Ron Dennis who gave him a outstanding car, but again without that he is just one more in the extended list of f1 drivers.
Alonso!, the sooner you go the better, nobody wants you in there. Hamilton is the biggest pain in the bottom you ever have had and you are payng the price to be with this sausageface who is deaf and can not take orders from his boss..........Hamilton!, you should go to the army and learn what life is all about.............................

well, if this is just impressive, then alonso has been absolutely crap this season!!!

race. wins? equal

may i remind you that LH IS a rookie. FA is supposedly a double champion.

to me, his performance this year, and behaviour in and out of the car this year proves that he is NOT as good as his record say, he has just been in position to capitalise on other peoples problems...
KR should have won in 05, but reliability was awful (retired from lead 4 times!!)
KR and MS both better on 06, but cars much worse at start of season

you put FA in a red bull and what out happen? NOTHING, exactly.. no matter how good the driver, put him in a rubbish car and he'll not win.

LH's achievements speak for themselves, he has CONSISTENTLY out-performed FA all season, you're right, LH might not win the championship this year, but he is already a match for FA in ability, he is already BETTER than FA emotionally, and he admits he still has much to learn, while FA thinks he is the perfect F1 driver.. how nieve is FA???

watch this space, LH could easily beat alot of MS records in the years to come!!!

When LH is gonna be winning two following championships, then u will be able to compare him with Alonso. As i said some many times in here, LH is a really good driver, but he wasnt champion yet, so please, i think u should show more respect for Fernando Alonso, cause its not easy to do what he did...

Ehy..Don't be wrong two times in one, try to do an effort. Last two year's renault was a magic car. If it was magic, it was for FA too, but a team is something more. Now, this year, Fernando is understanding what it means to fight. Last two NOT. Two years ago, he won because MArio Illien couldn't give to Kimi an engine which didn't break, last year ferrari awakened too late. Now Fernando, for the first time, is Fighting. Best whishes to him..It's time to suffer, i think...

In 2005, the Renault was the best car, ie it was a fast car, but also a very reliable one. The McLaren was certainly the fastest car, but it broke every 2 GP.

Personnally, I think that it's easier to win the championship with the first car.

Renault was more reliable than mclaren and Alonso very good and consistent, im not disputing that, hes had some great races but we're talking about this year. This year Lewis is consistenetly beating him. All that experience of Alonsos does not mean he should be gifted races it means he should be beating lewis easily and he cant do that because lewis is too quick for him.

Yes, Fernando Alonso is fighting and he will win anyway, if not time to time. I believe the time is the only one who can place everyone where they have to stay, so... And the past is talking by itself too...
