Red Bull have the diffuser ready :D The fight is on, can Red Bull take a big another step forward to haul in Brawn GP and their massive points lead.

Intriguing, so my bet is that now they'll have a definite 1 lap pace advantage now, but the Brawns will still be very good over the race stints. The diffuser should get them, say, 2 or 3 tenths at least... for me, good enough to get pole at Monaco which should lead to victory. Hopefully for Mark Webber too! :)

Fantastic, hope they take a nice big chuck of points of Brawn with a 1-2 i'd happy see that as long as Mclaren were 3-4

will get board if this season is a brawn walkover COME ON RBR!

There's gonna need a whole 2nd truck for spare wings for Piquet and Crashajima

If Naka wrecks his front wing, he should be forced to complete the rest of the race without a new one as punishment.

lol not that it would make a diffrence he's still finish last or in a wall.

Yeah, I'd love for Webber to win! Although it would bug me somewhat that he got his first victory before Heidfeld... :P

Vettel is my tip for the win although i expect Brawn to be there, I would imagine Button's smooth style will help him at Monaco as fatigue won't be such a factor for him. The more you can reduce your workload at Monaco, the better and I think Barrichello's driving style is more work intensive. I expect McLaren to be nowhere but Lewis will probably do a good job

let's not forget the restriction in testing.....not because they'll have a double diffuser doesn't mean they'll gain time and be at par with brawn gp team. remember adrian newey said that it's touch and go whether the double diffuser will suit their car well. although in my opinion, even without their new diffuser they would still be strong in monaco, and can be a match with mclaren for the race win ---- you read it right, mclaren. :hehe: ......just kiddin, brawn. i see mclaren as the dark horse for the race win.

Everybody has forgotten Toyota already :hehe: One bad weekend and everybody writes them off.

Personally I see things like this. Monaco is a stop and go circuit. Bahrain is quite a similar circuit in those terms. Stop and go, with very few fast corners. Toyota were the fastest team at Bahrain, bar their poor tyre strategy. So again I expect Toyota to shine through. But they'll have a tough fight with Brawn. I don't see Red Bull being as strong this weekend. They may go aggressive, but we'll see. Not mention Williams, always one to excel at this circuit. It'll be one interesting weekend.

I'd be interested in seeing Sutil's performance at Monaco. He might be able to get close to the points, although I think it might take some rain for him to get any.

If you read back, not everyone did  especially with Trulli at the wheel.

I'm writing Toyota off on the basis that I believe their pace in Bahrain was down to them being the only ones of the top teams to have tested there in the winter. Also, Spain denoted the first round of the all important development race and saw Toyota slip back. This is to be expected as Toyota do not have a good record of developing a car over the course of a season. Personally, I think they got lucky over winter and hit on a couple of concepts that have worked very well and put them amongst the leaders initially while Ferrari, McLaren, Renault and BMW were somewhat wrong-footed. I Expect Toyota to gradually slip back over the course of the season.

I agree they will slowly slip back throughout the season but its still early days. I believe Jarno will be at large for pole this weekend.

All eyes on RBR though, I want to see what their car can do now with the double diffuser! :D

At the very least he'll finish ahead of Piquet and Crashajima.
