F^(king Atalanta. They are flukes. 2-2 draw to Juventus. Watched the whole game which ended now. Stupid Fiorentina won. No bloody good. Juve lead them by a single point with 2 games left to play. 3rd spot earns automatic qualification for the UCL and Juve are at risk to losing the spot to nobodies Firentina teste di merde!!!!!!!!!!! I dont want to end up like Arsenal and get 4th and have to do a playoff for next years UCL. I was swearing and cursing during the wholw f&cking game. Parents not to impressed but couldn't give a shiit right now. I am so angry right now. My blood is boiling. I need to outside get some fresh air and go for a walk. :bs::bs::bs:

Whoop! Inter win it with 3 weeks to go!!! :sickman::cloggynmarki: It's kind of hollow as no one in Italy seems to be anywhere near Inter of late, it's sad to the league in decline. Inter look amazing week in week out when playing against Italian teams but in the Champions League, it's obvious that the Premiership (and Barcelona) are ahead.

thats in 2009. It wasn't the case in 2007 when AC Milan won in Europe but hang on it wasn't the case in 2006 when Barca won oops and hang on an English team just bet an Italian team in 2005 and I can go on and on and on. Fact remains the every year it changes. I would easily predict that in 2010 serie A teams would rock again. If you think not then maybe cast your mind back to 2002 when no Serie A club made it past the first knockout stage. Just like in 2009. ANd then in 2003 there were 3 Italian clubs in the semi final and an all Italian final. And now let us look at reality. Italy are the world champions, 95% of those world champion players play in Serie A. The English national side is so crap they need an Italian coach called Fabio Capello, who is from Serie A (if you look at where he has mostly played and coached). We all know who the best is. Italy is the best. English are on the decline. What will happen when the new 5 X 6 rule comes in? The big 4 English clubs are going to have trouble filling up the 6 indiginous spots with good English players that is for sure. Serie A teams (except Inter, that very scum that doesnt belong in Serie A) have at least half Italian players now. Oh and I love Chelsea. They began their road to the top in the mid 90s. When the Italians like Vialli came in.

Hey what do you mean all! Inter are clearly the top Italian team of all time! Seriously though, that has done the Italian league no good at all, I'd say it was the best league in the world until that happened and for sure it was the only reason Inter won that season and the following season. It was sad to see AC and the others get punished but Juventus have been doing dodgy stuff for years so they got what was coming to them.

The premier league has only recently gotten to the top of the pile but i think it is the to stay as it's where the money is and I don't see what amazing players the Italian teams are going to gobble up, and they do need to do this. Most of the Italian sides have poor depth and higher average squad ages than top Premiership teams.

As for the Italian national team, I see them as a group good players who play together well. They were not even in the top 3 teams in the World cup they won, but that's just how those things go. They did the business when it counted rather than in the group stage. England has excellent individuals who have never really performed as a unit. Clearly the top international teams at the moment are Spain, Argentina and Brazil, probably in that order but it will all change by the next world cup no doubt

Except we've had teams in the Final every year, and usually more than 1 in the Semi's... although i'm actually getting bored of seeing English teams dominate, so it'd be good if your teams actually got their collective arses into gear for once. :hehe:

I'll give you the '06 World Cup, hell i wanted you guys to win after we went out, but face it, all your best players from then are well into their 30's or retired - Del Piero, Pirlo, Totti, Cannavaro etc. You still have a few good young players, Chiellini, De Rossi, Cassano... but they aren't anywhere near the standard of, say, Rooney!

English national side crap? We're unbeaten in any match that counts this campaign. Our previous manager was crap and it showed, but now we have Capello, his nationality doesn't matter because it's the nationality of the team that counts, no one really cares about the manager as long as he's good. He has the guts to pick what actually makes a good team, not just the best individuals... which leads me onto the 5x6 system, lots of the brilliant 'non big 4' English players are now getting chances in the national side, and they can't be bad if we're winning most games! The likes of Young, Barry, Defoe, SWP, Agbonglahor, Walcott, to name a few - lots of them are still young and very capable of playing at the very highest level.

I don't get that. The top Italian teams were never in the division below (save Juve for one year in Serie B due to a bullpoo Calciopoli scandal) and none of the top Italian teams are in debt either. Well Juve and AC Milan are not. Inter maybe like Manchester United and Liverpool which are full of debt but I am not sure.

My dad thinks England will win the 2010 world cup. Well to be honest they are getting there and you're right, they haven't lost a game yet under the current campaign under Capello. Rooney is good, I'll agree with that (but he plays for the wrong team). I by the way don't think England are crap, I just said that to be a little brat. Was just joking in other words. Chiellini is still young however and now with Cannavaro back at Juventus (Yes he has offcially signed) he may teach Chiellini a thing or too. As for Cassano, once he learns to calm his anger and learn the right attitude, he'll come through a top player. De Rossi, yes I agree with you on him. Good but not as good as Rooney. Now as for the UCL in 2010. I honestly think the Serie A clubs will do good and may win it in 2010. Not impossible as the topsides are good enough. But the English clubs will be there. But the reality is as far as I am concenered. If the 2010 final happens to be Inter versus Chelsea, I am going for Chelsea. :D And if it does happen, I will not make it too obvious where I live because I may not be too popular afterwards. When it is at club level, I don't think the nationality of the club is of too much emphasis like at an international level. Besides in Serie A I dislike Inter. In the EPL I love Chelsea. Why would I ever go for Inter. :hehe:

Inter only won it because everyone else was so poor. The Italian league is in a sorry state imo.

Yeah but look at their team...Ibrahimovic, Cesar, Cambiasso, Maicon, Zanetti, Samuel, Vieira, Stankovic and Crespo...what a great team yet they fail to perform
