Don't think so. The BMW is not better then 3rd right now. Nick is pushing the car further then anyone can at BMW. If Alonso does go to BMW, he will have a learning curve to catch up with the car whereas Heidfeld can setup the car in his sleep. Right now Nick is the only German on a German team, he's a hero in Germany securing points for BMW and thousands and thousands of people turned out at th.e RING to see the him drive a BMW around the track. Plus, Alonso would have another issue to deal with at BMW, Kubica. It would be the same story, just different teams
