At the end of the day, Alonso got punished for his pitlane blocking, McLaren got punished for the way they lied and tried to cover up the whole thing and almost bringing the sport into disrepute, it's quite simple really. Hamilton won because he kept quiet and laid low after his row with Ron, and then got the job done.

You know, what Alonso did was against the rules but it's not going to change my opinion of him as a driver. Drivers don't get into F1 because of their ethics. Schumacher did a lot of dodgy stuff but he's still regarded as a great driver so I still regard Alonso as a great driver. I just wouldn't enter into any sort of partnership with him because he might screw me over.
