Dude.... You gotta get out there and start making a name for yourself. If you can do this, I reckon that many people would be interested in signing you to do work for them. Imagine what Bernie could do for this time.

I originally started this post with: "You gotta get yourself a job." And then i realised that it could be taken the wrong way. :hehe:

it's not that easy big azza there is already slot of motorsport art out there already! But you don't do this kind of thing with the idea of making money from it, it's a passion!

your right bud, theres no fortune to be made in sketching, i sketch for the enjoyement of doing it, if i got bored it would show in my work, but if im doing it anyway i might as well try and make some money out of it. when i do sell any pencil artwork people think im nuts because the price to me usually works out at about $4-$6 an hour, thats like minimum wage but im not expecting to make a bucket load of cash and wouldnt do it i didnt have fun with it.

i remember when i was a kid my uncle bought a mansell sketch and paid 200 quid for it. i was amazed by its quality and used to spend hours staring at it. but now it looks like crap in comparison but i guess the artiist had got a name for himself in the world of motorsport art and could command prices like that, maybe one day ill do the same but for now im happy to sketch away and learn, and if i one day started making that kinda money maybe i would look at it more as a job and less as something i enjoy.

the whole car sketching thing was born out of my passion for tattooing, eventaully i hope to get in a shop and be tattooing full time, keep the realism sketching purely as a hobby.
Image could be awhile before im as good with a tattoo machine

anyways Texasmr2 has bought the brawn sketch for $60 so i can afford a new pack of pencils

O.O
WOW. Those are all bloody awesome. I'm jealous of anyone with real artistic skill.
I dabble with pixel art, and that's about it (you can see an example in my avatar - that was my attempt at Vettel after Monza last year).
