I am not just saying that yesterday was only Kimi's fault (the use of We and not I in his comments supports this)
How can it be a knee jerk reaction? unless I have the reactions of a whale, lets face it the real Kimi hardly turned up at all last year)
Kimi's cool when he is "fighting"
but until now, Kimi has been.......quite...sloppy, honestly.
Massa has the edge over Kimi

Ah, your original post suggested that is all. No worries then.
As for last year... hmm, he wasn't great but was also unlucky (France and Canada) - there were maybe 3 races where he was very poor, Germany, Hungary and Valencia - aside from that his general speed was a lot better than people seem to make out.

yeh last season he should/could have won in France, Canada, Spa and arguably Silverstone if things hadn't gone against him. Its no excuse though for last season, if he hadn't been so poor in other races, (more accurately qualifying) then it wouldn't have mattered as much.
Last year should have been an easy championship for Kimi, with the best car on the grid and being the reigning champion. I still think that he would have done better if the team had reacted to Massa's appalling opening two races and gone for a propper number 1 and 2 driver policy but his lack of pace over so many weekends last year was inexplicable.
i don't think he's driving badly so far this year, better than Massa IMO

Ok well just to clarify,
France - clearly yes
Canada - had the greater pace had just got ahead at the pitstop when he was taken out
Spa - if it didn't rain*
Silverstone - obviously highly contentious as Hamilton demolished everyone after the rain but Kimi was closing on Hamilton hand over fist before the stop when Ferrari put him on the wrong tires. Whether the Ferrari would have had any pace in the heavier rain afterward, we will never no. i suspect not but it certainly would have been closer than it was.
*I think the fact the Ferrari came up with a car last season that was unable to generate or sustain any kind of tire or brake temperature in sup-optimal conditions was indicative of their misguided development strategy. This problem blighted Kimi from the start of the season as Kimi found in 2007 that the best way to get the most out of the bridgestones on a Ferrari is to be easier on them. In 2008 Ferrari came up with a car which was even easier on its tires than the 2007 car and this was responsible for Kimi's qualifying woes in 2008 and their lack of wet pace.
All i can say is kudos to Massa for getting brilliant single lap pace out of it.

Le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point.
How Kimi acts infront of the press is not indicative of his work ethics when it comes to racing. He's been the same way since the beginning of his career and I didn't hear anyone complaining about his work ethics back then. When he puts his helmet on I'm sure he drives as fast as he can.

When or rather IF he puts his helmet on
