I'm going for 5-8. Best chances for them this year will probably come at circuits where the safety car is likely to come out and where races tend to feature some kind of accidents.

It may be useful to have two separate polls: one for Ferrari, and another for McLaren. Both teams have their strengths and weaknesses, and their own priorities. If things don't improve for both teams very quickly, I say they should start to focus on 2010.

well we will see after McLaren has another major update for Turkey, if the cars still poo and the 2010 regs are all agreed on then i would rekn they will push the MP4-25 development and beat the cap.

I would also think Ferrari will do the same.

Mclaren have 2 design teams 1 the 1 that designed the MP4-24 is run by Paddy Lowe and the 2nd 1 is run by tim gloss and they are designing the MP4-25 and Mclaren will Try to make the MP4-24 quicker each race they dont give up

Ferrari have taken a step forward in performance, but there is still a couple of teams faster then them, which they are unlikely to catch. McLaren have made some improvements, but none of them really significant; the MP4-24 is fundamentally flawed. Moreover, both teams are a long way back in the title battle, so they've no realistic chance of winning it, even if their cars significantly improved within the next race or two. It's time for Ferrari and McLaren both to focus on 2010.

Spa will be the ultimate baptism of fire for the MP4/24's new upgrades and if they have brought any pace to the car.
