I think Williams better start quietly shopping for Nico replacements and wait for the buget cap, I don't think it's going to get any better now, Renault, Ferrari and McLaren are just going to spend their way past them. Rod Nelson needs sacking because he is making ridiculous strategy calls.

A Nico replacement WTF. Who would consider replacing him when he's got a team mate like Nakajima.

I think Nakajima will be gone at the end of the year too, I think Williams will switch to the Cosworth because their deal with Toyota expired this year too.

If Hulkenberg does well in GP2 this year - apparently he had a good race yesterday blighted by a bad cluth but he overtook a lot of cars - he'll be more than ready to step in, I actually think he could potentially be more like Vettel, and he's being groomed by Williams too. Somebody like Davidson alongside him as well would do nicely, especially as Frank has tried to sign him before.

The new rules arent working at circuits like Barcelona, the race was so dull. Hardly any overtaking, almost gave up watching to be honest.
Its also beginning to look ominous for Button winning the WDC, all due it has to be said because of some rule interpretation and the Brawn cars being so far ahead at the beginning of the season. Even if another driver starts winning a lot, he only really has to keep finishing on the podium.
I hope the other teams get on level terms soon, otherwise the rest of the season is going to be as dull as this race was.

I think the Red Bull is on a par with the Brawn. But the drivers aren't making the most out of the car.

They are getting beaten on strategy too... certainly the last two races.

True, if Massa hadnt held Vettel up, things might have been a little different. I think at the moment Vettel is really the only driver capable of challenging Button's championship lead.

I was holding my breath with Alonso passing Massa. What a terrible weekend from Ferrari, they really need to step up their game...or just common sense.

True, they messed up Massa's refuelling at some point and he had to give up positions just to save fuel. Hope his car is not underweight now!

Do you think Monaco will be less processional?

But thats two races in a row he's been held up now. Hes undoubtably very very good but he has to overtake. Both cars holding him up weren't as fast as his, though they did have Kers I guess but i didnt see any real attempt to get past at all.
Nice result for Webber!!

I'd definitely consider replacing someone who complains about the team, yet rarely shows up on raceday himself.

Sorry but you got to put that in context so lets look at who fits this description
"someone who complains about the team but isn't doing so well"

Kimi for a start not having such a good season and is having a go at Ferrari
Hamilton also not doing so hot and saying that McLaren need to up their game

Button last year was being written of as someone who was all talk and didn't have it in him to drive for the WDC
Webber is another one from last who was marked as a complainer

Thing is that if the stratagey or the car isn't going well in the race its the driver that would know

I wonder if Alonso & Trulli are penalized next race for thier part in the turn 1 & 2 massacre ?

I hope not, the first corner crash was the only exciting part and the stewards are getting more and more anal dishing out penalties for racing incidents.

maybe Vettel is being over cautious after that penalty he got. thats just pure speculation though on my part.

And I wouldn't be surprised about that either. Like I said, drivers are too cautious because if there's an accident the FIA will dish out a whopping big grid penalty and the driver's following race has been compromised badly.

Imagine the steward's reactions if something like this happened at Monaco in 2 weeks time. Penalties galore, points deducted, whopping big fines etc.
