Ferrari, Mclaren and BMW look very slow going by today's sessions. I think Toyota are sandbagging though.

Piquet was up to his old tricks again, so were Williams topping the times.

I guess that means they'll be 10-12th on Sunday then :P?

Times mean nothing

Sorry I disagree, the 2 Mclarens are at a similar pace and very slow, Massa even slower, Kimi a bit quicker but he has the lighter chassis. Someone at McLaren design and development needs a good shoeing

Why? because they have got us from Q3 to Q1 in the space of 3 Races?

Think were doing ok thanks

williams as always gunning it in practise lol but ferrari .......new changes only seem to be doing a slight amount of good....0.7 of a second my :censored: but mclaren seem slower than they have been in the past 3 races this is where there lack of downforce will hurt them and i dont want to admit to it ..but i dont think they will have a strong showing this weekend ...always nice to see piquet making an bottom of himself tho lol :)

They need a good shoeing for producing a championship running car in 08 to that pile of crap running round the circuit today, thats what I'm on about, and b4 you get on my case, I've been a McLaren fan for years

Surprised to see Glock going off a lot... although i think they said Toyota were doing long runs on hard tyres. Seeing Briatore's reacton to one of Piquet's several spins was hilarious, and judging from the onboard shots, the BMW's and McLarens don't look like much fun to drive.

Both McLaren and Ferrari went backwards. It appears not writing off the season early was the problem. And for teams with a shot at the championship, it would be unreasonable to have written off '08. So I don't think anyone at McLaren nor Ferrari really needs a good shoeing. It's just a natural consequence of so many rule changes and limited testing.

Of course, it could be said that Ferrari is in the better position since it won the constructor's championship last year. But McLaren did take the drivers' championship.

I know it's only pracitce, but Rosberg AGAIN the fastest, 2 tenths faster than Button's apparent quali sim at the end of FP1. The pressure is on to deliver now, Williams, and mainly Rosberg, absolutely have to put that car on the first 3 rows and get something out of this weekend.

Having said that, they should do well at Monaco as apparently they have the most downforce on the grid.

Honda and Williams stopped developing the 08 car early on (honda especialy) Mclaren had to keep going for 08 because they would of lost the championship otherwise because Ferrari would of overtook

They had Updates for the Car in Brazil you can't go and have a top spec 08 car in a close close title battle with the likes of Ferrari and still have the time to build a top spec 09 car.

Ferrari are in the same boat (well worse) the team have done a great job to get the car to the stage it was at in Bahrain so good work to them i say.
