Welcome racechick!

I am starting to believe that this whole charade is a way for ferrari to get back at McLaren. I mean that if it were not for McLaren alerting the FIA to the illegal floor device used on the Ferrari's, I strongly believe that the latter wouldn't have done anything. But since McLaren told the FIA which found the device illegal and, therfore, stripped Ferrari of its "illegal" advantage and ruined their chances of winning this year, the Italian team had to do something. Ferrari does not care about justice and fairness. All they want is revenge against McLaren. And what a better way to do that than to take McLaren to court over the leaked documents. I do agree with racechick, that if ML is guilty of receiving the docs, Ferrari is also guilty of allowing the leak in the 1st place. Also, if ML is penalized because of this affair, I think that Ferrari should be penalized for winning in Australia while using an illegal device. And to those who say that if McLaren wins this year their win will be tainted. Well look at it this way, if ML didn't tell the FIA about the device, Ferrari would have won this year. Of course, no one would have known that they used something illegal and therefore their win is not tainted but is well deserved. That's the problem with Ferrari, they are morally bankrupt.

I think Todt has it all planned, he and Michael have done it so many times in the past, used dubious methods to gain an advantage or to destabalise the main championship opponent. They didn't seem to care how they won so long as they did. I feel sorry for Massa and Kimmi now who get tarnished by it. when they clearly want to win on the track in a fair fight. Love to know what other juicy bits of goss stepney has up his sleave!

Yes yes I know, I lived in England for 8 years, if you read the British Tabloids you become totally brainwashed, all of F1's problems are blamed on Ferrari.

It all boils down to jealousy.

A German Driver in an Italian Car driving Japanese Tyres is too much to handle for the old guard...

Just about every newspaper journalist is a tosser, English papers in particular, especially when it comes to sport. But in saying that, in the last few weeks just about every paper everywhere has portrayed McLaren as the big, bad wolves and that is by far from the truth.

About the stolen documents, i'm quite sure than never McLaren used or watched or copied them. What i dislike, is that the chief designer kept for a long time reserved files of Ferrari at home: if those files were totally unuseful, someone should explane why the chief designer loses his time so and runs a huge risk toward the world of motorsport and the law with no reasons. Moreover, sometimes someone calls "cheat" the ferrari floor: the floor was regular, as found out after the post-race check in australia by the stewards. After the letter of McLaren (informed via e-mail by Mr.Stepney) FIA decided to change the parameters of the inspections. But there is another component on the rear wing which "MAYBE" were not regular, as told by McLaren. All these events are not interesting for me, because i love the races, not the lawyers. I hope just that this WC ends on the tracks as it started, with a loyal competition just on the tracks. Less words, less complains, more race! I'd find dusgusting to win in front of the court of appeal of the fia, because that's not the natural place where to decide the races. PLZ, don't kill me :o

Of course there are not Saints, but everyone would like to believe their teams are. As for LH, LH like to potray himself as a quiet gentlemen, a yound lad that likes to race and let Alonso run his own game. How things have changed this weekend, disobeyed the man that raised you into the racer that you are today, direspect him on team radio, acted innocent during the press conference like a spoiled brat, "I don't know what I did wrong, go ask Alonso", thinks he's blameless for this whole situation.

Alonso, meanwhile, said 'nobody' at McLaren is speaking to Hamilton, but reiterated that it is "not my problem but a big problem for the team."

Dennis said he blamed both Hamilton and Alonso for interfering with the team's attempt to handle qualifying in Hungary equitably.

I wish the FIA is gonna punish Mc Laren because this way Alonso would be free to leave the team!!!

How do you work that out? If McLaren are punished the drivers will be as well and Alonso's chance at three consecutive titles will be down the tubes.
