There has been a lot of talk during the last two weeks about the adjustments and improvements of several teams. Ferrari,Williams,BMW and Renault all of them are looking forward to the race due to their new updates. Also other teams like Brawn have some changes too. McLaren are worried about their aerodynamics and the whole Barcelona race. Toyota and Red Bull are known for their fast cars. Who's going to suprise and is someone going to become dangerous for Brawn? My opinion is that Brawn will be no.1 still and red bull, toyota right behind them. So no big changes, maybe Ferrari in top6 or smth.

opinions?

I think BMW will surprise us with even more under performance. If I'm wrong I will take that back and apologise to the BMW fans.

No, no. Unfortunately, we're only getting the new light-weight chassis and not a double-decker diffuser to help out. Additionally, no KERS for this weekend at the very least. :(

I don't think we'll get much of a surprise. Mclaren will be closer, but Toyota, Brawn and Red Bull will still be out in front I bet. Ferrari surely will be closer too, but thats not surprising either.

If Ferrari don't make the biggest leap forward then their season is offically a complete writeoff.

Wtf? I thought that's why they made the new chassis in the first place!? :P

light-weight chassis so the balance of the car won't be compromised by KERS then when they finally get it they decide not to run KERS  I'm starting to think BMW have lost the plot this season I've always had a lot of respect for the team in the past.

They want to get to grips with the chassis before shoving a KERS unit in to it.

Yeah, BMW have mythed me a little this year. For a team so famed for their quick rise to a win and great management structure, what has happened this year. It's just what happened Honda, a great year in 2006 with their first win, and then it just fell apart. BMW, first win, and it fell apart.

BMW's form has been impossible to read this year. Lets be honest, the podium was a very lucky stroke of luck. But Kubica had qualified in the top 10 in the first two races, twice ahead of a ferrari and both mclarens. But China and Bahrain were sub-standard to say the very least. There was Australia were its Kubica could've won, but I think they were flattered a bit in that race, and safety cars allowed the BMW to be close to the front on the better tyres.

I honestly think the surprise will be Ferrari, but of course I've probably just jynxed them. I've been wrong about everything this year :hehe:

KERS hasn't worked out for teams I see. Why do they say that KERS will play a big role in the second half of the season?

Because some people think that teams will have developed KERS more so that it will give a greater advantage so it will be more important.

I want to say Alonso and Renault, but I will hold my breath on that one.

How can the BMW's get much worse? If they get anything above 5th, that'll be a surprise. I'm thinking personally Force India will socre their first points, or a Ferrari/McLaren will grab a podium spot.

Mclaren are getting there, I doubt highly that BMW will be making some big leap which is a shame. Front runners are stil going to be Brawn, Red Bull and Toyota.

Ferrari may make some improvement, but no podiums yet

Mclaren will win in Spain.

:D

More chance of Crashajima scoring points than that.
