Hello all,

This is Jon...33yrs old, married with dogs. I live in Oceanside California USA. I'm a big fan of motorsports...mostly follow Desert Racing (US/Baja), and Off Road Short course (TORC/LUCAS series). i also follow DRAKAR a bit and WRC...but not much...but like it! I have always enjoyed F1 when I catch it on TV. I remember watching back in the Mansell/Schumacher days....those were good times in the sport!

I am planning a trip to Italy in Sept...and noticed that the Italy/Monza GP is happenning while I am there...so I plan to attend (how could I not??? :D ). So I will be heading down to Monza from lake Como for the day to watch the race on Sunday..probably gonna buy seats in 21d or 21e at the entry to Parabolica. Anyone from the states going?? any tips for a yankee showing up to Moza for a day???

Take Care,

jon

Thanks Rivelution,

Yeah...the Desert/off-raod Racing is pretty fun. I got pretty heavily involved the last couple years. I even helped promote/organize a race in El Centro, CA. I'm kinda taking a break from the desert racing racing for awhile...got to be resposible and do something other than racing...what else is there????

Man El Centro is way in the desert! My dad is in ag, and we always pass through El Centro when we drive down to Yuma. Its pretty much just fields and a navy base :P

And dude, racing is life. :P

El Centro? Oooh, bad memories, On one of my trips to date-land Salton Sea on my motorcycle, I almost got a heat stroke in El Centro. It was sooo hot! Driving at 100mph didn't help either, no cooling wind, more like sticking your head in a convection oven. And driving through El Centro, I've always thought: what a pit that place is.

Were you there during the summertime? I hate the Salton sea, it always smells like rotten eggs in that area...
