Fisichella have been punished too! I've seen another time the sequence: it's true he braked to avoid another car, but he stayed on trajectory, and by looking at the rearview mirror he had enough time to change it. But this decision too sounds like the Fia says to us "u see, we punish everyone makes this kind of things, not just McLaren".

-LH didn't obbey team orders to let a clean trajectory to FA, so FA has to wait much more time on the 1st pit stop.
-LH turns off the radio.
-FA looks they have putted used tires after lollipop raise, then asks why they have done that (looking to the wall). GPS shows traffic when they raised the lollipop, so engineerings told him to wait.
-FA starts his last lap when time left was only 0.6 seconds (that would be the most amazing calculation on history).
-LH negates every evidence given by FA and McLaren, doing his team been punished.
-There's no fundamentation on the FIA's resolution, there isn`t no rule about number of laps on qualification, or "blocks" on pits. There's any rule saying you have to leave inmediately the pits when lollipop is raised or when you have your partner behind.

It's just disgusting political decision.

I still don't understand the logic behind the stewards decision. Yes I've read their statement, but I believe that only teams should have the right to punish their drivers if they don't obey orders (at least during qualifications). Correct if I'm wrong, but I don't think there are rules that forbide teams from running their own strategy in qualifications no matter what it is. Why does it have to be the FIA/stewards to tell teams how to run their strategy. LH was given a team order (which is legal during qualifications) that he disobeyed and therefore they adjusted for the time shift by keeping FA in the pits. I don't think that McLaren did it to get back at LH, but even if it's the case, the FIA/stewards should have nothing to do about it. If it had impeded the safety of the driver or crew than I understand but other than that it's not their business. A spoiled child must be punished by his parents.
Anyone who rejoices at the stewards decision shouldn't be ashamed because this might embolden the FIA/stewards in giving harsh penalities for small incidents. F1 is about competition/fun, not about politics. I'm starting to believe that the FIA/stewards are starting to feel the pressure and start abusing the rules in order to gain respect of the sporting community. Unfortunately, it took them so long to realize that they have lost the public's respect but this is not the right way of gaining it back. Rulers must be fair in their judgements and not ignorant and arrogant.

I think we seem to have this problem with you for the last few weeks . You can run any strategy you like during qualifying but you(another driver) are NOT allowed to hold up your teammate during a pitstop. Stewards also found McLaren guilty of covering up the whole situation and for that, they were found guilty of violating the "sporting conduct", ironically, its the same rule they violated with the whole spy affair. After the Hungarian GP, RD has gone on record and said that BOTH drivers are to be blamed for this whole situation and it just got out of hand. Teamates are not talking to each other, engineers are not talking to LH, Alonso is not talking to RD, everyone at McLaren is lying about something, must be wonderful at McLaren now. Oh don't forget, you guys got a date with the appeals court in a few weeks

If you had more brain cells you would have understood what I meant. What I want to know if there are rules that govern blocking your teamate during qualifications. Shouldn't that be considered team strategy to a certain extent.
