Adam Carroll has won the A1 GP Championship with Team Ireland, with a brilliant Double win at Brands Hatch.:)

I think a few F1 teams will be knocking for Carroll in the near future...

Just caught the end of the main race at Brands Hatch, it would be nice to see him get another chance in F1 and Tony Jardine has just mentioned he will probably go knocking on Lola's door for a 2010 drive. :)

Congratulations to team Ireland :)

AC has really impressed me in the races I've seen this year and I definitely think that he would be worthy of a Formula One test at the very least. With a possible three new entries for the 2010 season, we could see him finding himself in a race seat, which would be pretty cool, especially if the budget cap helps these new entries to be competitive from the start. :D

I was watching the season this year like a Hawk. Adam Carroll is from Portadown, which about 5-10 minutes from my house. I actually drove there last wednesday, seeing as its where I have pass my driving test.

But yeah, fantastic day for Carroll. He scored every point on offer, bar fastest lap in race 2. Hopefully, there'll a few talks with F1. Certainly A1 has gained more and more creditability with F1 recently mainly with Ferrari's involvement. Plus the new car this year has really allowed the real racers of the field to shine.

I think today's racing was very good to watch. A1-Gp is still slightly rough around the edges. Some drivers are questionable, but even so, it has been a good season. Pity some of the events had to be cancelled.
Well done Carroll, superb job.

Carroll has always impressed me. His determination is pretty incredible as well. He's never had a lot of financial backing, but he still manages to scrape enough together to go racing, and usually out-performs what his equipment is capable of. I feared he'd never get a chance to get into Formula One, but his drives in A1 GP means he's back on the radar again.

Carroll seemed to be really on it this weekend having quite an advantage in speed. I don't really watch A1GP that much but to me the drivers make a lot of mistakes i'm not sure if that is because the car is twitchy and not easy to drive or because they don't have the same sort of skill you see in F1 either way Carroll seemed very impressive to me.
