Taken after the WMSC hearing in Paris, I thought this was an interesting bit from Max Mosely. It seems he likes the new McLaren organization and Ferrari seem to be becoming the old McLaren, resisting the salary cap proposal and all... Max actually warns them(the critics) to watch out for McLaren this year. One thing is clear though, Max definitely likes Martin Witmarsh's McLaren.

It could actually be that he's less concerned now that he has, effectively, scored a defeat over Ron. Of course, nobody really knows much about what goes on inside this man's head (other than PoW camp roleplays) so you could never be certain about anything.

Their relationship is looking more and more strained as each day goes by. Ferrari have opposed nearly every proposal that the FIA has put forward in the past six months and I can't see them liking anything less than their current budget as the proposed amount for the budget cap. I'm pretty sure there's more tension to grow between Ferrari and the FIA.

Mosley has forced Dennis out of Formula One, but whereas Mosley will only ever get mentioned in a couple of paragraphs in the annals of Formula One, the names Dennis and McLaren will fill chapters and books. We all know who are the real victors.

I don't think that's the way that Mosley will see it, though. He's achieved what was perceived to be one of his main goals and, for the moment, his 'win' will be hurting McLaren and their fans a little.
